Why Are My Designs Not Downloading Into My Embroidery Machine?
I just bought a Innov-is 1200 embroidery machine. I’m having trouble getting my designs to download to the machine. I am using Embird ‘08 and coverting my files to the brother format. I’ve tried PEC PES PHB, etc. but it’s still not working.

If you are trying to conver .art format (Bernina), it will not convert.
When you bring up a design in a conversion program, use Save As and the new format. Use pes for your machine.
The size of the design has to fall within the hoop measurement, which I believe is 5 x 7 for your machine.
Save the downloads to the hard drive and then choose the one you want to send to the machine.
The direct cable must be attached. Note the drive letter when it is recognized by your computer. This is the drive you send the design to.
How are you trying to download the file?
If using a flash drive you need to copy the file from Embird( highlight the one/ones you want then “copy to clipboard” go up the top of the box and change the file from “C” ( your computer) to “E” or whatever your flash drive is then press paste from clipboard to the flash drive and then when you put that into your brother you press the
part that shows the transfer from the flash to the brother.
there are a number of ways of doing this. you could always just cut and past it in “My computer” as long as you have the file as a Pes format.
Pes files work the best. Do you have the instruction manual?
You can also go on the brother site http://www.brother.com and look at
the help files.

I would go back to the place you bought your machine did you take your lessons I am sure they could help you more than any of us because we may not have a machine like yours do you have the software for your machine? Good Luck
